The designers and artists must have taken years to implement all the details in the castle. Hogwarts Legacy gives lots of things to explore. Also, the missions with Poppy Sweeting have the most beautiful level design,majestic beasts included. And, if you're a Ravenclaw, you won't even get a chance to solve a riddle when you enter your house's common room.Īmong the good things, I personally loved flying on a broom and caring for the beasts.
The world won't react to your actions even if you're walking through the castle killing everyone you meet. Noone really explains why you're so special and talented. You don't have a history before Hogwarts. This game is full of chests but their contents are mostly rubbish.Īll in all, the character you're playing as is an avatar. However, the plot, the overall scriptwriting, the dialogues, the characters, even voice acting are very mediocre and sometimes even bad. Most of the efforts went into the visual stuff and design of the world so it would look believable. If you're a fan of Harry Potter world, it's worth looking into it, but if you're a gamer who loves a good story, well-written characters and interesting sidequests, brace yourself.
